download speed?

alright well i dont really no where to put this thread.. but i figured it might be here.**move it if you have too**

anyway when im running limewire(basic) and downloading music or vids.. i would say my speed ranged from 15kb/s to 75kb/s. Anyway i was wondering what would or makes this faster ?? is it my internet provider? the program? the amount of program running? .. what could make this faster?

 

It depends on many things, for example, the place you are downloading it from, if you have other downloads in progress, if others are downloading from the same place as you at the same time etc.

 

Usually, since you are downloading the files from others, it depends on their upload speeds.

 

oh so it depend on their computer speed.. anyway i can improve mine?
