Hi, installed the programme from the 3 discs supplied and prog works fine. Bullguard didn't pick anything up but SAS did. It found trojan.agent/fakealert [local] and blocked the prog and put 8 files in quarantine. Prog will now not run unless I allow SAS to let it. I contacted the seller from ebay and they say its ok to run the prog , but don't believe them, so am going to ask is it possible to clean these infected files with something major geeks would recommend and let me run this very important to me programme. The prog is a workshop repair manual for renault vehicles and is 6gb big and they have copied the original discs and sell these things for many type of vehicle .Wonder how this bug got on the discs? or is there something sinister here.. Thanks for all your past help. regards

I think that SAS is probably giving you false positives. However, you can upload each file to Jotti to have them check for malware:

Click on the following link and use the below steps to scan a file: Virustotal
    Click the Browse... button.
    Navigate to the file FileToBeScanned

    • Where FileToBeScanned is the actual file to be scanned. Like C:\WINDOWS\System32\vdmt16.sys

:confusedHi, wow, what a checker this thing is!!!!! I could only send 1 file to it to check. C:\PROGRAM FILES\DIALOGYS\DATA\DIALOGYS.EXE and this one was clear of anything. This is the one on the desktop and opens the prog. I don't know how to send any of the other files. I have a full list of them from the SAS log file but don't know how to access them. Regards, grstools:confused

SAS should list the full path to the files, however I would not bother with it. Just set SAS to ignore those files. :)
