Downloader.gen.a Virus

    Hi everyone!

    Been having a lot of problems with my laptop recently. McAfee is constantly popping up saying the file C:\windows\system32\appcert\wsil32.dll is infected with the downloader.gen.a virus. Problem is it won't let me remove or quarantine the file. Any ideas?

    My internet browser only stays open for about 2 minutes, and I can't download programs normally - have to do it through a download program.

    I've done a scan with Smitfraudfix but not sure if that is applicable here. Attached is the log for that (as required in the steps)

    Any help would be much appreciated, or could you advise me what I need to do?
