Downloading and Internet Connection Interruptions

When I'm downloading more than one video off Ares, my Verizon DSL modem will shut off, then reconnect. It will then immediately reconnect, but it's still a pain waiting for it to restart. About a minute or two later, the same thing will happen. This happens until I'm down to a single video. Then it stops. When multiple are set to download, but all but one is paused, the disconnection doesn't occur.

 

That sounds like a built in design feature.
