Downloading issues

Ok I have 2 computers one is a laptop. Desktop is hardline setup to wireless router while laptop uses the wirelss. Its a blekin router.

Both computers can not download anything. Offline for program updates or online. And it does not matter the file type. One uses windows xp and the other is windows 7.

As the download is going and the progress bar is moving itll just stop. Itll look like its downloading and working but the progress bar stops moving and the timer stops. If downloading program updates the program will do the same thing show progress and just stop.

IE,firefox, opera it doesnt matter the browser either for online downloads they just dont work. I have even reset and power cycles the router.

What would be the next step to fix this?
