Well I hope that makes sense
I would like to download some videos from TNT.TV but don't know how
I can watch them (takes ages)
and then next time I go in there it takes ages again
So I would like to be able to download them on my comp

I do remember reading something about being able to grab them using IE, but I now use Firefox..
    Any suggestions???

    Cheers
    Wendy

I'm not sure this will work with TNT, but I use Down Load Helper FF add-on for Youtube etc. so it may work. There will be an animation in the top left of your browser if the content is downloadable.

I will try and google the IE download thingie

    Thanks for that
I will go check it out
I wouldn't normally bother with downloading to my comp but everytime I watch these vids, they are slow...... it doesn't seem to cache..........
And I have high speed wireless............... I dunno:confused

i should've checked that site before i posted, they are a cable network and you can forget about what i said previously....they might have their own proprietary video player and they really dont' want you to be able to download, but orbit migh work...

It didn't work but thanks anyway

AS I said before, I wouldn't mind so much if I could wait for it to download then watch it uninterrrupted (like on YouTube)

    But it's crap everytime

    I dunno

I was bored so I checked out TNT.TV, I did need to install their XMP plugin to play the videos in FF, I was surprised as most US providers block Canadians. BLEH, the pox on them! :-D The videos came through beautifully on my wired 7.1Mb/s connection. I'm starting to wonder if it's perhaps your connection that's at fault. I know that you said youtube somewhat worked, but you had to pause it for the download to complete.

I would look at your wireless connection instead. Go to dslreports.com and click on tools/speedtest and it will give what your connection speed is. Please post what you think it should be and what the test shows. Run the test a couple of times, it doesn't take long.

This question violates the MG rules. You CAN NOT download any videos from TNT legally.
