Downloads from Majorgeek

I think that the site allows to downloas in 1 strech [through downloaders], as in case Dialup drops on the subsequent try the Downloader give an error
"The file does not exist".
It is very difficult [even impossible]for our SE Asian countries where Power Failures & ISP low speeds to get files larger than 2/3 MB.

Can MajorGeeks Webmaster look into the matter.

 

did you try the Australian links?

 

Sorry I do not remember. But I always try the top one or the 2nd lower

 

I use Fresh SW Downloader which do ok on all the rest sites. Only Major geeks has this behavior

 

Thanks for advice. I will try Australian Sites& suggested downloader. But I remember I tried with the well renowned Downloader [sorry I forgot its name]
but there was no change in behavior of Site. It stopped @ a very specific size of file recurringly. Thanks

I get great results from the Internode ( Australian) MG download link.
In fact it is the only one I ever use, nowadays. I am on dialup for a few more days hopefully, but have a good phone connection.

I had excellent results using Leechget, as a download manager, but currently do not use one.

Free from adware, malware, spyware, etc.
Free version only downloads one program at a time, though. Bazza

I tried to download from Planet site of Majorgeeks. Now it shows "Resume" not supported. I hope U know the "Resume" property of website.
I have taken a Snap of it & atached. I re-call now that on Redoing all for re-downloading the file "It did not supported Resume" by all downloaders I had used, like Fresdownload & DA [download accellerator].

That is why I suggested Internode.
Much better results than using Planet Mirror, IMHO.

I also suggested Leechget because of the resume function.

Previously I had been using DAP [Download AccelleratorPro]having "Resume" request in such cases. But even DAP could not [DAP download file on its server & supports later to user with a limited Quota per month or so ?]
However I am trying the Internode & see what comes up.Hope 4 best
