Drag and Drop/ Blue Screen prob

Hi.. I am having a problem with my drag and drop feature.. Recently I can no longer drag and drop any files. I can no longer drop my photos from my memory card into My Pictures. Also if I let my computer sit at idle for a little while I get the infamous "blue screen of death" I can't remember exactly what it says the error is, but it tells me that windows is restarting. If i hit any key it goes away and everything appears to be normal.

Before all this started happening i let my sister use my computer and she caught a virus on it. Can't remember which virus is was, but I searched out how to remove it and I think I got it all. It was one that disguised itself as a adware removal tool. I'm just wondering if the drag and drop and the blue screens are a result of this and how I can correct the problem

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

My son is still working on his logs and such I am sure he will be contacting you soon. However I got the Windows Antivirus 2009 this morning on my computer. I will go through the read and run me steps first but would you like me to use this thread or open a new one
