you think my spec's below should be running driv3r fast at high settings? or would it be draging it through the mud so to speak? because even at very low settings it jumps around alot.

from the looks of the game, the visuals seem pretty good so i have a feeling that your system could run into a few problems...celerons arent very good for gaming and pc2100 ram is very out dated. same with your video card. Some reccomendations; knock down the resolution a few notches, this always gives you extra fps. make sure no AA or AF is enabled as this runs well only on high end cards or old games. Im not familiar with ATI's card settings but if there is an option to change from quality mode to performance mode, do that. If you plan on getting into newer games, id reccomend investing in a whole new system, yours is gettin towards the end of the line....

do you know when the game was made...? if it came out after '04 then id go with a x800/gt/gto or a 6600gt, 6800/gs/gt the best price will be a 6600gt or an x800, should run that game no problemo but it will run into problems in modern and next-gen games. If you wanna somewhat future-proof yourself, get an x800gto or a 6800gs. If your hardware is that old then im guessing your stuck with agp (sadly, so am i....:() anyhow, as long as you have a supporting psu, minimum 450 to be safe (400 would work, maybe even 350 but thats pushin it..) If you're short on cash u can always upgrade slowly. I'd actually get pc3200, even if ur mobo doesnt support that speed it will still work, just at 2700 speeds and it will always be able to work back at stock speeds it you ever upgrade your motherboard. Id go with ur proc 1st, vid card 2nd, then the ram. Maybe even the mobo later on. ok, goodluck with all your computing endeavors. hope i shed some light on your shtuff....

hmmm not sure how it will run compared to 1 gig of 2100......but id still go with the 3200 even if it is just 512, u can always add more later. 512 should be enough to run that game and many others paired with a 6800, but 1 gig would be preferable.
