Drive Not Found

    Hi Folks!
    I have a Dell 5150 desktop and am getting message saying: Drive 1 not found: serial ATA, SATA 2. Can anybody tell me how to resolve this please?:confused

    Bit more information here wont go amiss ... Is your primary drive with operating system working ie. can you boot up computer ?? If so and you still cant see your other drives check your settings in Bios that they are Enabled. Have you got the SATA driver installed and is it correctly cabled SATA 1 to SATA 1 port (the cable connection to Motherboard) What is your Primary HD PATA OR SATA ?? the more info you give the more response/help you will get ;)
