Okay, so i have Windows XP Home SP1, and a Creative 3D Blaster 4 (or in other words a GeForce4 Ti) 4200, and im just updating the drivers again, after a slight mishap with a freezeup where they seemed to go fubar.

Unfortunatley, although 3D and 2D wise they seem to work fine, i cant get to the driver properties through Display properties, advanced, as it crashes on me :S

Only idea i had was to uninstall the driver completley in safe mode (with a driver removal tool), then install a fresh one over the top, but its such a pain...

Yep that would be best practice to use...... plus are you using WHQL DET drivers?

I would also re-download the driver again just incase the file you have is fecked!
