driver updates

    when using and older notebook (compaq armada). After hooking up an external dvd drive, I am getting a message that says the cine player can't read the codes to play videos and that the driver needs to be updated. after updating, got the same message. any suggestions? Is there anything that will help to enable video viewing on this laptop?

    Sounds like you need a codec pack.
