driver updates

I have just downloaded the programme Advanced System Carefree, 3.1.2 and after scanning it tells me I have 3-4 driver updates required, I always thought they would be included in the updates from Microsoft :confused
do I need these updates when everything is going OK. ?

Hi Janet1, welcome to MGs!! If they were security updates then I'd say yes, get 'em. But being driver updates, if your machine is running great, with no problems then I'd say 'don't fix it if it ain't broken!' Just because they say there are newer drivers, that doesn't mean that you have to get them. Then again, if you just want to get them, go for it. One thing I have learned, with my machine, is newer isn't always better and sometimes they can create more problems then they solve. Hope that answered your question!!
