i was trying to play a dvd on my dell inspirion E1505 and this message popped up

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.

i currently have a mobile intel 945gm express chipset.

i went to dell and updated all drivers, because i couldn't use the ones directly from intel.

after i did this and restarted my computer, i tried to play the dvd again and got the same message.

did I miss a driver or download the wrong ones?

    thanks

    Hello,
If you have Windows XP, you will have to pay for a DVD plugin in order for Windows Media Player to play it or you can download VLC and play DVD's with no problem.
