i have the same problem too...:cry

got a BSOD saying driver IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL.......

IM USING ==>>> HP PAVILLION DV6700 NOTEBOOK PC
WITH ==>> WINDOWS VISTA SP1

please help.....ATTACHED IS THE BSOD.....

has there been any recent hardware or software changes?

second question: can you boot into safe mode?

 

The BSOD tells me that the problem is related to your ethernet/wifi adapter and/or its drivers. Uninstall the drivers, reinstall your chipset drivers, then reinstall the ethernet and wifi drivers.

When does the BSOD happen? Is it random, or does it happen when you do something network related, or what? Have you tried a system restore to a date before you first experienced the problem?

 

i tried to update the drivers but when it connects to the internet i get the same BSOD even roll backed the driver for network adapters.

it comes on random sometimes when i open vuze(azureus) or play online games also when updating driver.

i also did some research on some other forums and i found this thread>>>

i did the chkdsk and up to now i haven't got any BSOD i'll inform you in case it comes back.

nope there wasn' any changes and i did not try to boot on safe mode...
