A few days ago I purchased a Lexar 2GB pen drive. When I got home, I plugged it in to test it. I let the computer finish recognizing it, loaded a few files to it and it seemed to work fine. After taking it out of the computer, the computer graphics, writing, pictures, etc: started flashing.

The flashing would cycle a couple times a second. I ran a virus scan and found nothing. Ran a malware scan, nothing. Eventually after a couple of restarts and running Tuneup Utilities, the graphics straightened out, but since then my DVD ROM drive is only recognized as a standard CD drive and when I use my two DVD burners, the A: drive light wants to come on and go off when ever I access the DVD burners.

It also changed my autostart function on both my DVD drives and I had to reset them and I never did get the DVD ROM back to where it wolld recognize a DVD movie. I can burn movies just fine and play them, but it slows down the processes when the A: drive is accessed first everytime you need to use the DVD burners. Kind of a pain in the butt if you know what I mean. Any suggestions?:confused
