My first post so forgive if short of details but I really need help.

Windows XP. Has Floppy, hard, DVD-ROM and DVD+/-RW installed and boots up in that order. Now I get the following on start up

Drive 1 not found: Serial ATA, SATA-2
Drive 3: Not found: Parallel ATA, PATA1 (PRI IDE Slave) - (this is the DVD-RW)

Press F1 to Continue F12 to go to set up.

F1 completes set up but Drive 3 does not appear anywheer, even the system configuration. Yet in Setup it shows as enabled.
