Droid X won't activate on Page Plus

I've had, and loved, my Droid X for the past two years. I'm leaving Verizon and going over to Page Plus for cheaper, no-contract wireless service...at least I thought I was until about two hours ago when I gave up trying to activate my phone on PP. I'm going through the reseller Kitty Wireless, which has great reviews for customer service, etc., and after struggling for hours they're telling me my phone is "defective". They have decided this because they were able to activate my ported number on one of their handsets. This seems a bit glib on their part. What does "defective" actually mean? I'm still waiting for an answer. If it just means I'll have to manually program it, then I'll have to figure out how to do that. In the meanwhile I have NO PHONE SERVICE. Grr. :mad

Somebody in another forum suggested that perhaps the big V had not released my device, and that's why it won't reprogram. But V says it has. Moving on, I guess.

 

Problem solved: somebody, somewhere, was trying to activate the wrong MEID. Funny how that wasn't working...not. Moving on. :-D
