DSO exploit problem

Spybot claims my computer is infected with 5 cases of DSO exploit spyware.
I hit fix problem and it says it is taken care off; but the next time I run Spybot the same problem reappers. I followed the mandatory part of major attitude's "DO NOT POST UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THIS: How to: Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal". And Spybot still finds the same problem. Before I trek on to the optional part; I was hoping to get some advice.

It's not spyware, its part of IE. Update your version of Spybot S&D and it will fix this.

You are right the new version of spybot eliminates the problem. I was confused because i had all the latest downloads; did not realize there was a new version available.

After updating your Spybot did the DSO Exploit show in the new scan?

 

no; it gave me the all is clear.
