Dual boot same OS

I have a laptop that when it is turned on goes to a screen that gives you a choice of boot screens. They are the same OS WINXP but one has bootscreen at the end of it and boots with a Danzig boot screen the other boots with normal XP screen. Anyone know how to get rid of one of them so comp boots directly to the sign in screen. confused

Try this:

1. Hit windows key + r (or click Start --> Run)
2. In the 'Run' dialog, type 'MSCONFIG' (without the quotes)
3. Hit enter (or click 'OK')
4. On the 'System Configuration Utility' dialog, select the 'BOOT.INI' tab
5. You should see a screen similar to the attached screenshot, probably with multiple lines that look like the one that's highlighted. Press the 'Check All Boot Paths' button. This should verify that all OS listings are valid, and give you the option to remove ones that aren't.

Post back if there are any problems.

It says all paths are good and does not give me an option to delete
Any ideas on how to delete the unwanted path

 

OK I think I figured it out
I went into boot.ini file and deleted the unwanted boot line and saved it naming it boot1.ini
Then deleted boot.ini file and renamed boot1.ini file to boot.ini and it worked so far
