I have Win 7 installed on my SSD. I'd like to install Ubuntu. Can I do this using EasyBCD?

You'd need to create another partition for the Ubuntu installation but, I don't know about partitioning SSDs.

Why not install Ubuntu in a virtual machine first, rather than risk all the potential problems that can arise from dual booting Windows and Linux on the same disk? You could use either VMware Player or VirtualBox for this, both free, both very competent, Running it in a VM means you can access it without a reboot, it's just another app and, on a mid-spec machine will perform perfectly adequately,
