dual moniters question

    i currently have installed windows xp home and a nvidia geforce 6600 graphic card. i would like to have another moniter set up. the card does have 2 moniter ports. how do i set it up to use 2 moniters?

    Just plug in two monitors. Install the driver for the video card (which you most likely did long ago).

    Other then that there isn't really much to do, except turn on the second monitor. Right click the desktop, select properties. Go to the settings tab. On this tab you'll see in the top section, two blue boxes labeled 1 and 2. Those boxes indicate the monitors. You can drag them around, which tells the computer where they are physically placed in relation to each other. Clicking on one of the boxes makes all the controls below it effect that monitor. So in your case, click on monitor 2. Then check the "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" box.

    The wording may be slightly diffrent if you arn't using windows XP, but it's the same concept.
