Dummies 101 Making A Computer

I want to learn how to make a computer is that any websites on good info, sites for good product to buy like newegg or something?

 

Assuming all your parts are already chosen and compatible, building a computer is easy. The biggest thing is: If it doesn't fit, it probably doesn't go there.

And be careful about static discharge because it can really mess up your stuff.

Figure out what you mainly use your system for, determine your budget and the good folk here will spin your head around with options.

 

Can anyone build there own computer or is it illegal? Because I know you have to stick some sort of windows or vista or whatever you want on it.. and I didnt know if "the people that of microsoft" come sue ya and you go to jail. Or what and how do you get a "kind of windows on it" Also If you install a window by a window disk.. does it come with all the stuff on it or will it be a straight plan jane computer. Ive had a friend build a computer and he said he had to pay some hundreds of dollars to the "company" to get the disk or something to install it on the computer.

 

That's right, the Operating System costs money as someone has to write it, that's mainly Microsft. You can also get Linux OS free for the download and use.

 

lol its not illegal to build a computer, but like augie said youll have to buy windows or use linux which is free.
