DVD authoring for pictures

    Hullo again, MajorGeekers of the Interweb...

    I'm hoping some smart person can answer this - I have a whole bunch of photos that need to be burnt onto a DVD. Now, the thing is, I need a program that not only burns the DVD, but can also create a slideshow that can ve viewed on any standalone DVD player - essentially, turn a bunch of photos into a DVD movie. Preferably free, but if not free, what are my options?

    My bad, I couldn't edit my first post in time (Damn that 5 minute rule...)

    You can click here for Videohelp's list of apps that create photo DVDs and VCDs ... notably, "DVD slideshow GUI" is FREEWARE...
