dvd autoplay problem

just replaced my dvd writer with a pioneer 108 writer,the pc reconised it and i can burn with it using a program but the autoplay doesnt work on it even though its on and i cant write files to it using the wizard thing as it says insert a blank disc,also when i put a dvd in it it doesnt show the dvd name on the drive ,nothing happens.Ive tried a autoplay fixer thing but that says it cant find a problem.Anyone got an idea

Im using win xp pro

 

if you go to my computer> right-click the cdrom> properties> and go to autoplay and restore defaults, reboot, see what happens
