DVD/AVI converters and burners

Hey I am new to the site. I have a few questions and problems. I hope some one can shed some light on my stupidity. I have Any Video Converter Professional.
Here is the problem, How do I go about burning it to dvd? I have NTI 8, but I do not know if that will work. I have tried a few but they have water marks, right in the middle of the screen.
Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong or not doing?

Thanks, I have one more question about this program. Is it an all in one or do I need to get a converter and a ripper program?

what it does is encodes and authors various prepared formats of video files(avi,mkv,wmv...)to burn to a DVD ,you have to rip a retail DVD beforehand to the file and format of your choice first before the authoring takes place,the encoding can be a little time consumming but the quality is quite good,read the guide first,easy step by step instructions
