DVD Burner has become slow!

    hey

    Last year i bought an (LG DVD Burner 4X). But in the last few months it has become slow and it takes like 2 hours to read and burn a dvd. I have tried 2 programs just to see if a setting or somthing was wrong but they both take around the same time.

    If anyone can help me it would be great.

    Hmm, have you changed anything in ya bios?, as in resetting everything to default settings? If so go in there and try the optimum settings or optimized or whatever it is titled in there on the main screen (assuming your using award bios).
