dvd burnin

i'm totally lost kvcd says just open the .cue file with nero, which i have tried and it just comes up unexpected media format what am i doing wrong? should i use a converter first? what are isome otherways of burning dvds so they'll work on my dvd player? thanks guys

It's really very easy to use something like DVDshrink to rip/edit your dvd 's-The program is designed to work well with nero (automatically starts nero when burning-nice touch) Very easy to understand and use even for the novice..

A KVCD is not a DVD. It is a variation of the VCD (video CD) format.

You can burn it onto a recordable CD with Nero and play that in some standalone DVD players or you can extract the MPEG video from the KVCD to use to make a DVD. You can't burn a KVCD onto a recordable DVD disc to watch it.
