DVD burning, soo frustrating need big help!

Ok, i have a _NEC DVD+RW ND-110A if that helps anyone... microsoft the provider driver version 5.1.2535.0 and yah! ok well i need to burn a mpeg to a dvd, at this point i really dont give! if theres a mneu or not, i have gone through EVERY freakin program and every so called tutoral! it is really started to make me mad, i have serached every forum, on how to simply burn a dvd of an mpeg, reguardless if it WORKS!! plz help me i am on my last stand and i am really needed some help, and i kow i can get it here, you guys have always sloved my problems i should have just come here first plz plz plz plz help me and thx sooo much in advance! i have DVD+R philips 1-8x, 4.7gigz, 120min. DVD's! please HELP!!!

 

So, from what I can gather, you simply want to burn an MPEG file onto a DVD+R...just to save it or something? It doesn't get much easier than that. Nero 6 or Deepburner should just let you drag & drop the file onto the DVD, click burn & away you go.

Now, have you already tried this & just end up with a DVD coaster everytime? If so, then it could be several things. Perhaps the DVD+RW drive needs newer firmware to be compatible with your O/S? That's usually the first place to look. Try the manufacturer's website to see if there's a firmware upgrade available.

 

This may be more appropriate for the software forum, but it would be much more helpful if you explained exactly what you did and what went wrong.

 

No im very sorry but that is not even close to what im after people, sry i thought it would be obvious, i want to burn it compatiable for a dvd player, burning a dvd, to like wacth it

 

What programs did you use for this DVD project? I use Nero 6 myself, though there others, like Roxio. Doom9 http://www.doom9.org/ and Afterdawn http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ might of some help to you.

 

Ok how about this guyz i got mpegs right?
So.... yes i do have nero6 and it only burns if you have the correct files like .bpo or w/e i dont rember soo...
does anyone know how or any programs that convert mpegs to those therefore i can burn~!

Is Nero up to date? You are burning it as a DVD movie? There may also be compatibility issues. Nero works with MPEG1,2, and 4 and others, it automatically transcodes them into the proper format.
