DVD Burning

Hi All,

Ok so I'm a total idiot when it comes to this stuff. I just downloaded a dvd burning program and I can't get it to do anything. Actually I've tried 3 with pretty much the same result so it's pretty obvious to me that it's a user error.

Can anyone walk me through this stuff?

I've got Copy2DVD, DVD Shrink, ConverXtoDVD, and DVD Fab HD Decrypter.

I don't know ANYTHING about computers so please be gentle with me.

I haven't used any of those programs but DVDShrink and ConvertX have very good reputations and there are a few fans of DVD Fab on this site.

My understanding is that these programs do different tasks. If you could explain what type of file you have to burn and what you want to end up with it should get you more advice.

 

Thanks. I finally figured out I've got a problem with my drive. It won't even let me watch them. Told you I knew nothing about this stuff. lol HP online help just screwed my pc up even worse. i posted another thread....

Thanks anyway though. Will keep this in mind for when/if my drive is working again.

Thanks though. DVD Shrink was recommended by two friends of mine. The others I just got off this site.
