   I am trying to play a DVD and receive the following message.
   "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer."
   
   Can someone tell me what I need to download to play DVD's?

   Very likely your are running XP or Vista? but do tell us if not, but if you are then yes you'll need an MPeg decoder driver and this codec pack HERE should help (its good for W2K/XP/Vista)
