I have successfully transferred a home movie from a DVD to my hard drive using DVD Decrypter. I am now trying to use VLC player to watch the movie on my PC. The video is fine, but I have no sound.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be a codec issue (esp. with a DVD and VLC Player) but you never know... grab yerself a codec pack from the MultiMedia section here at MajorGeeks (KLite's megapack is good). Also, go thru all your sound card settings and make sure nothing is muted; you could also try another media player, MPlayer comes to mind as a good one, or GOM Player. Both are free in the MultiMedia section.... good luck!
