   Luckyneil Private First Class

   Whenever I put a disc into my DVD player it "autoruns" and opens a window with a list of choices. How do I get rid of this?

   Right-click on the drive icon for your CD drive > Properties > Choose the AutoPlay tab, then choose the required option, in your case No Action on each type of CD that could be entered > Apply
   
   
   Or you can get TweakUI for XP ( install the TweakUI toy ) install and run then expand the My Computer branch, then the AutoPlay branch, and then select Drives and uncheck the ones you dont want to autoplay. < I prefer this way of achieving this.
