    Hi all.

I am in the middle of ripping music into my Hard Drive and I have noticed that every time I use my DVD RAM to rip music, the sound profiles in my entire computer are slowed down. Everything sounds slow and distorted.

Is this a software problem or hardware problem? When I rip from my DVD ROM, everything still sounds ok. Do I need to replace the DVD RAM? I have also connected my DVD ROM and DVD RAM with new IDE Data cables.

    Please help.
