Ok, I'm helping a family member w/ laptop and I reformatted their hard drive. After we re-installed windows, the DVD-ROM/CD-ROM doesn't work. It doesn't recognize anyhing (CD's, DVD's, etc.). I downloaded/installed the video/audio driver from the manufacturer of the laptop, but I still can't get it working...

Any suggestions??? How can I find out the specific make/model/manufacturer of the DVD-ROM?

In the Device Manager under DVD/CD ROM, QSI DVD+-RW SDW-082K is listed.

Should I install a driver for it? If so, where can I find one?
