Dvd Rom

    Thanks for that Halo and all others who replied, but no luck in any of those suggestions, uninstalled driver etc but no luck. Any other suggestions ? i could just buy a new dvd rom while there at resonable prices, if i do have to purchase another dvd rw any suggestions on some of the reliable brands ?     I personally like Samsung and NEC/Optiarc. I have an NEC in my home PC and Samsung's in my work PC's, and NEVER have problems :)
