dvd x copy platimun?

    does anyone know where i can retrieve a new license # and password?. i had my computer worked on yesterday and they wiped out the software and now i have to reinstall it and i cant find my lic # and password. can anyone help?

    I was going to suggest that you contact 321 Studios and ask if they can help you, but they are out of business. I don't believe anyone here will give you a password/serial#. Try DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter as DVD Xcopy Platinum does not allow for the backup of copy-protected DVDs, so you can protect your DVD collection. Both are free and work as well as DVD Xcopy.

    does it work the same as dvd x copy platnium? how to i copy it to a disc? is it the same quality?

    For the most part, yes. The quality is as good, maybe better. It doesn't have a burner of it's own, but you can set it to use Nero's (the best disc burning program IMO) or DVD Decrypter's burning software. You can also save the copy as an ISO (disc image) file and burn the ISO onto a DVD with a third party CD/DVD burning program such as CDBurner XP Pro, an excellent free burning program.
