What is the difference between dvd +R and dvd -R?

My preference is for DVD +R, anytime.
I suggest you buy 1 of each and see what your burner prefers.
Also check out your manual to see what formats it can use, and what your DVD players will work with.

Maybe consider DVD +RW's as well, if you are going to use a lot.

Get the best brands like Verbatim and Sony over the lesser known brands, for best results. IMO, of course. Bazza
