dvi to vga

    Hello to all, My monitor (hyundai L91) is vga only. When I put on dvi adapter plug, it goes from no signal to black screen.
    Any help out there?

    Are you swapping the connectors while the computer is loaded into windows confused welcome to the forum:)

    What is your video card? I use a similar adaptor with my Radeon AIW 8500, my VooDoo 3500 back when had a custom version to match the card. It is a relatively recent development that they have stadardized those suckers.
