DX10 for Windows XP

    I smell lawsuit.

    Microosft won't stand for this, if it took them to modify DX10. They dont even like others redistributing their applications.

    I love that supposedly Vista SP1 is going to include DX10.1 which is going to invalidate high end video cards and what not. Nothing like having a 8800GTX and having it actually look worse in DX10.1 vs DX9 because MS finally decided to 'upgrade' some stuff.

    Yeah I heard that too! It could really piss some people off if their $700 8800 Ultras are obsolete within the month.

    Actually 10.1 is supposed to be a developer's kit, not an end user DX. Thats what I have read anyway.

    I have read that the SDK for 10.1 is out now and it will be part of Vista SP1 for sure. I can't imagine that MS would shoot themselves in the foot that hard, but what do I know?
