E-mail and other problems

Hello guys

I've been looking in on this forum for a while; usually managed to fix most of the problems but this one's got me baffled!

Basically I can't read my e-mail, or delete it. Nor do smilies work on here or any other forum I go on. I strongly suspect it's something to do with my browser settings but I admit to being a complete PC muppet so I'm hoping someone on here could help please?

I'm on XP, use IE as default setting.

Just gone into this a bit further. If I go to "mail2web" to retrieve my e-mail I can read it OK, but not on my own browser.

Baffled!

 

Go to IE>tools>advanced>and in reset IE settings hit reset.

Tried that; no joy.
Also worth noting that the browser does not automatically re-direct me to this page (and others) I have to click onto the prompt.

 

Jeez, this gets worse!

I've just tried System restore but it won't work. It is enabled.

 

Click what prompt? and why didnt system restore work?

If your browser is re-directing you, you may have some form of malware.

The prompt which says, "Click here if your browser doesn't redirect you".

I've run the Windows Malicious Stuff Cleaner and it came up with "Tab.CF" which it partially removed. I have Defender running and have run a full scan on that, it failed to pick anything up.

The browser is not re-directing me; I have to click the link.
