Hi there,

I'm not sure if I am posting this to the correct board but I would be grateful for any help offered.

My workplace operated Novell Groupwise as an email client before switching over to Office Outlook 2010, I no longer have groupwise and I have a lot of archived emails which I would like to try and recover if possible.

I had a look at gwmigrator but it requires an active login to groupwise which is something I no longer have, is there any shareware/freeware software available I can use to convert the files to .pst so I can import to outlook?

They are currently saved as 000-009 Files which I have no way of viewing.

Your IT folks switched your email system and offered you no conversion/archive options? Have you spoken with them?

Thank you for your response, yes they did notify us although I misunderstood the context of their email and whilst the migration took place my archive was not copied over .

I don't want to appear stupid to the IT department as there was a number of emails which had been sent around at the time.

 

I would suggest contacting them anyway. The IT department already has an opinion of their users, an honest approach won't make things worse. They will best prepared to handle this for you.

A big plate of cookies and fresh coffee near your workstation may be helpful as well...
