E-mail distress

    Hey...I have Outlook Express 6. I set it up as the defaullt on my 'internet options; , but I can't recieve any e-mails from it. They are all still sent as mail to my Hotmail accountconfused .

    Can anyone enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong? Thx

    Did you just set up a hotmail account within the last year or so? If you did, OE won't work with a free acct. anymore.

    hotmail has been web based only on free accounts for some years now (2 or 3). Ran into this when they first did it and verified it.
    Tried a netzero free account, which worked, but they went to web based only, too about 18 mos. ago. How about an account through your server? I' with clearwire and those accounts work fine.
