"E-mail Notifications" chute clogged?

    I dont have notifications enabled so could not tell, but I guess you have checked your spam box and whitelisted majorgeeks.com? (just checking)

    Best is to ping Jim and ask him.

    Nope - none trapped by my spam filters... this has only been happening recently.

    Hi Don

    Just another thought, if using the likes of Gmail, Hotmail or another HTTP service, I just wonder if they are filtering out emails, my guess is they are not or may not on every server around the world, but worth changing your account email to a pop3 one unless it is already.

    Hi guys i have had the same problem and tried everything from malware to restore without success then i logged into me ISP website and opened the e-mail client there and all my mails were there but in the spam folder so some thing has changed at MGs to make them think it's spam because it just went like that two days a go.

    Hi Bill

    It could just be flood control, if ISPs see large amounts of emails coming off one server then they could start blocking them, we have this issue with anything from Hotmail at times that comes through the Gov network I use in work, countless times they have been told its not all spam.

    +1 Ive got it checked too to notify me of people that reply to threads.. And I just woke up with coffee to check MG and this thread brought light to my eyes that my hotmail isn't receiving any MG replied to threads either

    Me either. and here I thought it was because we were being so efficient at deleting the spammers.

    The ones i found backlogged in the spam filters were two or more days old, i have received nothing since.

    The last notice I got was on the 7th and its the 9th now.. I am normally getting many daily

    Not getting notices either. Happened recently at another forum, getting updates from them now.

    No e-mail notifications here as well, I am using Gmail. Started 2-3 days ago.

    Check to see now, those who get thread notifications and those on the admin team who get report a posts, I thing Dynorod have been in to clear the blockage or as Philipp is online he has fixed the issue.
