Hello, I am having a problem with a file named ~e5.0001, it does not let any of my game software run properly (Slows it down, makes things glitchy etc). I have done virus scans and adware scans with different programs and have read the Basic Removal Guide as well. After doing this it still pops up everytime I try to run a game. Is there any chance some one could tell me how to remove it? It is an extremely annoying program, and I have googled for about an hour so far on removal methods and they seem to be different for every person. Thanks.

Following their request for you to rollover and beg, they will want to know if you did everything suggested in the post. Though I poke fun at them, it is a good place to start. All I am saying is beat them to the punch and inform everyone of the results in your next post.

As I said I have read the posts, and I followed links and did what it said.I disabled system restore, and I scanned using different programs from the links inside of the posts as well as programs (ad aware, spybot) I already had and I came up with nothing, clean but I know the file is there because when I start a game and exit I can see it on my task manager.

 

Then you have attempted to delete the file in safe mode?

Maybe, what is mentioned below is happening to you.

 

I could not find the file in safe mode. I can't find it in non safe mode either.


I am not having any crashing problems, just making the game run slow and look glitchy.

 

Are you sure you have enough system resources available to support your games?

Does your pagefile or swap file reside on the same partition as your operating system?

 

I don't know about page file but it seems to be affecting Medal of Honor Pacific Assault only. I can play doom 3 and other games max graphics and no lag but when I load MoHPA into a game the graphics get all glitchy and sometimes the response time for my clicks goes to a second or two. When I close the game I see ~E5.0001 running on Task Manager. It only runs though after I open MoHPA.

 

What is your OS?

How much disk space do you have left where the game is located? I'm beginning to think the file requires enough space to expand and collapse as needed.

Also, Do you have a lot of processes running when playing MoHPA? If you are not online, shut down your antivirus, spyware blocker, and software firewall (only if you are not directly connected to the internet via cable or DSL).
