Ebay auction in Way Off Base

I looked at the auction for Uncle Bob's glass eye listed in yesterday's Way Off Base section.
It seemed familiar so I checked out an old ebay source and sure enough I found it:

It was first listed in 1999, so I messaged the seller with this info and here was his reply:

"People keep sending it back claiming it's haunted. I return their money, wait a few years and try it again. I don't believe in ghosts myself but with Uncle Bob you never know."

Fraud or not, you gotta hand it to the guy, 10/10 for humour!

 

haunted.. that's pretty funny. I think I'd be kind of creeped out by having some dudes eyeball on my desk.. lol

 

thats just crazy... i cant belive people are actually bidding on it...but then again someone bid on pocket lint and some change
