Sheesh take a gander at his "Hit Counter" about 20 hits a second when I checked. Thumbs up to him, if there is any truth to the Blog.

 

Looks incredibly fake to me.

 

I'v just been reading all the comments it does look real,the laptop guy said the the Sun newspaper is coming round to his house to write a story,this blog's popularity has spiralled out of control whether its fake or not I think it will make the paper,it will definitely make a news site and we'll know for sure

what a nighmare for amir,he deserves it though

 

Looks like another scam to me.

 

If it is real - which I sincerely hope it is - he deserves it no end.

Great Link Scousetechie when I first checked the site the "Hit" counter read 17,000 aprox, just checked again today 209,390 hits. Some interesting comment in the "Comment" section, seems Amir posted back as somebody else, and was caught. Best Internet Soap yet.

I'm pretty sarcastic at the best of times, but I get suspicious when I see a PayPal button.

 

Holy Geeks this blog just passed the MILLION HITS mark in just 8 short days, do not know if either Amir (the alleged scammer) or Mr Sawyer (AKA LapTopGuy the alleged victim) lives will ever return to normal after this

 

This has started to pop up everywhere - even some mainstream press - yea, life has changed for these two guys ...

 

the site got posted on digg and /., which has been known to kill a site pretty quick. if it survives, the post count skyrockets.

i saw this a few days ago, and i immediately thought it was fake.

 

Its REAL so everyone can take pleasure in the fact he got what he deserved

The police are now investigating Amir for other Ebay scams,He is tryna get the page taken down and sue for libel,the police forensic team will get to the bottom of whether the pics were on the harddrive at the time of purchase,if so not only will he lose the libel case he'll be investigated for those pics of womens legs,HA!

 

I'd love it to be real, and honestly don't know, but being in the paper doesn't make something factual.

Someone called Amir who ripped off people, also doesn't make it fact.

As I said, I don't know, but I'm always suspicious when I see a PayPal button.

 

It would be nice if it was real, but I don't think it is.

I still like the P-P-P-Powerbook! "scamming the scammer" article more, especially since it was real.

 

Sheesh, just when I thought that this site would run out of steam, it goes and gets a million hits in twelve hours..........Gadzooks Batman I think the funny farm just got out

 

Scousetechie, this is great. If it it makes just one potential ebay scammer stop and reconsider, it's a huge public service.

 

Well folks THREE MILLION hits and the thing is still going. Latest is that Amir has offered to refund Laptop guys money, but Laptop wants an apology and the monies donated to a charity!!! Like you really needed to know right.
