Eied_s7_c_7exe downloader virus won't go away

    Using Windows ME for last 5 years.

    Have a problem regarding restore facility.......it doesn't!

    Also have problem with ...............
    Source: eied_s7_c_7.exe
    Description: The compressed file eied_s7_c_7.exe within C:\eied_s7.cab is infected with the Downloader virus.
    Norton Antivirus tells me about it but doesn't seem to be able to get rid of it for me!!! annot go into quaratine and not sure what damage I may do if I delete file. :eek:

    Win ME is really an abortion that is not worth using anymore. However questions about System Restore problems belong in the Software Forum. This forum is for malware topics.

    Just delete the file yourself. Boot in safe mode to delete it if necessary. You don't need it!
