emachine w3107/ no sound drivers

    have an emachine w3107. apparently gateway will not give up the audio/ multimedia audio driver; where can I find them. I have XP Pro sp3

    Greetings, decadentdog...

    Try this page - the audio drivers will most likely be included in the chipset package listed under the 'Drivers' tab. Make sure that you reboot after installing.

    Caliban, tried that site alot. They will not give up the audio drivers. But I did finally find them; I went to realtek and downloaded the ac'97 driver. That worked out fine. Thanks
