    Little lengthy, sorry.
Had OEx long time. Changed OP to Win7 Home (something the other)
OEx not supported, not available for W7
    Tried Tbird, do not like.
Glitch in computer programs, and failure of cable equipment internet service tied to, caused loss of internet connections.
Cable comp replaced their equip, and computer tech reloaded W7 and some other programs. T'bird erased in process.
Cannot seem to sign back on T'bird. Went to Outlook to get new email act. MS shows an account with my email addy and I cannot figure how to get an Outlook account and how to get T'bird back.
    WaddIdonow?
    Tnx

If you have Microsoft Office, then you have Outlook, an email client. If you don't have Microsoft Office and are bewildered by the lengthy list at http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/sortnam...utilities.html, and you don't like TB, then the free Windows Live Mail, from Microsoft, is an option. Windows Live Mail is part of Windows Essentials, which can be downloaded from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials-other#essentials=overviewother. Windows Essentials includes more than Windows Live Mail but, as I recall, once you start the installation of the download, you will have the option to select which components of Windows Essentials you want to install. Or, simply install all of it; you might find other components, such as Photo Gallery, interesting.

You've been struggling with email since losing XP and OEx but do you realise there is actually no need to use an email client at all? You can use a web based service such as Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo or an email service provided by your ISP. Using email in that way makes you completely immune from the risk of loss of data as all your email is kept on the server, not on your computer, and you can also access it from any internet connected computer anywhere.
